Professional Membership Representative
Term: 2 years – July 26 to July 28
Are you a proud Professional Member who cares deeply about standards, connection and community? Do you want to represent your peers and help shape the experience of Professional Members within the Association?
We are seeking a Professional Membership Representative to champion and support members at Professional level. We have a dedicated Fellows Community President who represents and serves our Fellows community. This role ensures that Professional Members also have a clear voice, focused support and tailored opportunities to connect and develop. The Professional Membership Representative reports to the Membership Director and works closely with the wider leadership team to strengthen engagement and representation at Professional level.

You are an engaged Professional Member who wants to contribute to the strength of the PSA community.
- You are well-connected or willing to build strong relationships within the Professional Member cohort.
- You are a confident communicator who can represent the views and interests of your peers.
- You are proactive and able to take initiative.
- You enjoy bringing people together and fostering purposeful conversations.
- You are organised and able to coordinate initiatives or events.
- You understand the standards and expectations associated with Professional Membership.

The Role
This is a voluntary representative role focused specifically on the Professional Member community, reporting to the Membership Director.
Eligibility: This role is open to Professional Members only.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a visible advocate and point of contact for Professional Members.
- Gathering and communicating feedback, insights and ideas to the Membership Director and Board where appropriate.
- Organising and hosting events, roundtables or forums tailored to Professional Members (online or in person).
- Encouraging collaboration, peer support and shared learning within the Professional cohort.
- Working alongside other community leaders, including the Fellows Community President, to ensure alignment across membership levels.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the Professional Member experience and strengthen engagement.

Professional Members represent a significant and growing part of the PSA community. By creating dedicated representation at this level, we ensure their voice is heard and their development supported.
As we aim to encourage Associate Members to upgrade, your role will enhance the value of Professional Membership and encourage Associates to upgrade too. As Professional Membership Representative, you will help foster connection, elevate standards and strengthen the sense of belonging for Professional Members across the Association, working in partnership with the Membership Director to ensure their needs and aspirations are clearly represented.
