Marketing Director

Marketing Director

Term – 3 years from July/August 2026 to July/August 2029

Applications are open from 5 June until 22 June.

The PSA: An Association where everyone can grow their business of speaking.

Could you help make that vision a reality?

We are seeking a creative, strategic and collaborative Marketing Director to join the PSA Board and lead the promotion and marketing of the Association across both internal and external audiences.

Marketing is central to how we grow, engage, and retain members. From promoting regional events and flagship conferences, to strengthening our online presence and improving member communications, this role ensures the PSA is visible, relevant, and compelling to speakers and the wider events industry.

As Marketing Director, you will shape and deliver the PSA’s marketing strategy at a pivotal time, working alongside the Board, Head Office team, Regional Presidents, and volunteers to ensure consistent and impactful communications across all channels.

This is a voluntary Board role with the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and practical delivery, helping to define how the PSA presents itself to the world.

If you are passionate about marketing, storytelling, community growth, and supporting a professional membership organisation, this could be the ideal role for you.

About You

You are already a strong advocate for the PSA, with a clear understanding of the value of membership and the organisation’s core values.

You are a strategic and organised marketer who can balance planning with delivery across multiple campaigns, events, and stakeholder groups.

You are creative and innovative, able to generate ideas that raise the profile of the PSA while working within an agreed marketing strategy.

You are confident working collaboratively with non-marketers, able to explain marketing approaches clearly and support others in delivering consistent messaging.

You are comfortable working across digital platforms, with knowledge of tools such as WordPress being advantageous.

You have experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant social media channels to promote organisations and engage audiences effectively.

You are a team player who can work at Board level, contribute to strategic discussions, and translate strategy into practical action.

We welcome applications from all membership grades and levels of experience within the PSA.

The PSA is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of background or identity.
