The PSA: An Association where everyone can grow their business of speaking.
Could you help make that vision a reality?
We are seeking an innovative and visionary Learning & Development Director to join the PSA Board and lead the development of learning opportunities that help our members build stronger, more successful speaking businesses.
Learning and Development is at the heart of member value. Whether through online learning, mentoring, regional events, mastermind groups, accreditation pathways, or specialist communities, the PSA has a unique opportunity to support speakers at every stage of their professional journey.
As Learning & Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering that vision. This is a relatively new Board position, giving you the opportunity to build upon the excellent foundations already in place while helping define the future direction of learning and development within the Association.
If you are passionate about helping others grow, developing learning experiences, and creating pathways for professional success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Working closely with Regional Presidents, fellow Board Directors, volunteers, and HQ, this voluntary Board role combines strategic leadership, programme development, and member engagement.
Application deadline: 15 June 2026
About You
You are a strategic thinker who understands the value of continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
You have experience creating, managing, or delivering learning and development programmes, whether in a professional association, business, educational setting, or corporate environment.
You are comfortable developing both digital and live learning experiences and can identify opportunities to improve how members access learning resources.
You are a collaborative leader who enjoys working with volunteers, stakeholders, and regional teams to achieve shared goals.
You are passionate about helping others succeed and can create pathways that support members at different stages of their speaking careers.
You are innovative, resourceful, and able to turn ideas into practical programmes that deliver measurable value.
You are comfortable contributing as a Board Director and helping shape the wider strategic direction of the PSA.
We welcome applications from all membership grades and levels of experience within the PSA.
The PSA is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates, regardless of background or identity.
