About this event

Join the PSA Neurodiversity Community for our August online event. This is a space for PSA members to connect, learn and grow together, whether they may be neurodivergent or just interested in learning more about neurodiversity inclusion.

This month, your Emcee is Beth Thomas.

Sam Warner will run a knowledge sharing session about Boundaries – sharing practical insights on setting and holding boundaries, followed by sharing your own tips around boundaries in the Zoom Chat.

Samantha Garstin will deliver her exciting new keynote! The title and key takeaways will be confirmed nearer the time.

The ‘3 in 3’ Challenge – After the debut in July, your chance to speak returns! Three members each deliver a 3-minute high-level promo, followed by 2 minutes of lightning feedback.
This is a safe space for you to practise delivering clarity under pressure.
Want one of the three slots? Apply via https://tinyurl.com/PSAND3in3

In the break, we will run a quick Slido poll on what you’re struggling with most in your speaker business, helping us shape future events around what members need.

Who should attend? PSA members who are neurodivergent, or think they might be, or any PSA member who wants to be more inclusive in their speaking work – with neurodivergent speakers and audiences alike.

As always, we run our events with neuro-inclusive Zoom etiquette: cameras and mics are your choice, fidget-friendly, and we extend each other grace as we determine best practice together.

The formal session runs 12:30–14:00, with an optional 30-minute informal cool-down chat afterwards for those who fancy it.

Samantha Garstin
Samantha Garstin is a speaker, educator and coach specialising in menstrual and neurodivergent wellness. Late diagnosed as Autistic and ADHD at 42, she had one of those “well that explains everything” moments… including why she’d spent years building a career around understanding fluctuating capacity.
Turns out that’s pretty important when your brain works differently from the rest of the world.
Now she blends her professional expertise in cyclical health with her lived experience and specialist knowledge of neurodivergence to help people stop feeling like they need to shrink to fit, because your body and brain were never the problem.
