About this event
Building Deeper Client Relationships and Leading Transformation with Confidence
We are starting 2026 at PSA Staffordshire with a powerful evening focused on control, clarity and long-term growth. This meeting brings together two experienced speakers who will challenge how you position yourself with clients and how you guide people through change in uncertain times.
Whether you want more repeat business, stronger client relationships, or greater impact through your stories and frameworks, this event will give you practical tools you can use straight away.
Phil Jesson – “Are You an Inspirational Partner or an Irritating Supplier?”
Too many speakers rely on bookers and one-off gigs when the real opportunity lies in deeper client relationships. Phil’s practical masterclass shows how to use Key Account Management principles to generate the majority of your business from a small number of high-value clients.
You will learn how to differentiate yourself, secure stronger testimonials, and truly understand your client’s world so you become a trusted partner rather than just another supplier.
Peter Milligan – “A Handy Map for the Transformational Journey”
Change is no longer optional. Peter draws on psychology, mythology and decades of leadership experience to share a clear, human framework for navigating transformation.
Using the Hero’s Journey and four natural phases of change, this session will help you design talks, coaching and training that meet people where they are and guide them forward with empathy and confidence.
This is an ideal event for speakers, trainers and coaches who want more control over their business, deeper client relationships, and greater impact through the stories they tell.
Keynote speakers
Phil Jessen has spent most of his career in the sales and marketing world as a trainer, speaker, consultant, and author. His client list includes major organisations such as Pirelli, Grant Thornton, Bass Brewers, FedEx, and Tarmac, while he is equally at home working with SMEs and not-for-profit organisations.
Phil is the author of the business books Piranhas in the Bidet and Top Ten Tips for Your Top Ten Customers, both of which spent many months as best sellers. He is known for delivering practical, engaging insights that help organisations improve performance, customer focus, and commercial results.
Peter Milligan is a speaker and business psychologist with over three decades of experience in developing business leaders and teams, helping them to have less stress, more joy and greater effectiveness at work.
Originally a software developer, Peter retrained in psychology and joined the management team of a leading Australian HR consulting firm.
After moving to the UK in 2000, he became a director of Europe’s largest executive coaching firm before establishing his own business, New Generation Leaders, in 2005.
Peter has worked with leaders at all levels across a wide range of industries. His clients have ranged from professional services firms, SMEs and family businesses to larger corporates including Australia Post, AXA, BP, Credit Suisse, Howard Tenens, Kerry Foods, National Express, Novartis, University of Oxford, Origin Energy, Rolls-Royce, Rydges Hotels, and Vodafone.
