A very warm welcome from our Regional President Jim Boyd and the growing team at PSA Scotland.

Back in Glasgow, our guest speakers for November are Amy McDonald and Angus Robinson from Headtorch – experts in workplace mental health and wellbeing.

The speaking world can, at times, be a somewhat lonely and solitary pursuit. So how is your mental health? And that of your PSA colleagues and your clients?

Both former members of PSA Scotland, it’s thanks to a PSA Mastermind group that Amy and Angus started working together 10 years ago. Since then Headtorch has grown and developed, working with a wide range of organisations nationally and globally; engaging with senior teams, people managers, frontline and direct staff – and all with the aim of developing a mentally healthy culture. So, they’ve been speaking more and better!

Amy and Angus are delighted to be back with you now, to deliver a Masterclass with proven tools and techniques that help individuals, teams and organisations to thrive.

As always, you will also have time to relax, connect and network with fellow members and guests over some food and drink. Tea/coffee and a light buffet supper will be provided.

To take advantage of our ‘early bird’ offer, please ensure you purchase your ticket no later than Mon 13th Nov.

Masterclass: Who’s in Charge? Energy, to deal with life’s ups & downs
– with Amy McDonald & Angus Robinson, Headtorch.

Is your cup half full or half empty?

Do you feel energised or do you have to be resilient?

In this interactive masterclass we’ll take a deep dive into the resources that can help us increase our energy.

We’ll get creative and explore ways to flip our thinking; build our confidence; increase our adaptability; and develop our sense of purpose. We’ll consider how this can support our own mental health both in and out of work; and how it can help us in conversation with someone who might be struggling with their mental health.

Who’s in Charge? You are of course – when you tap into your innate skills and qualities, reminding yourself of your own hidden talents.

Expect to recharge the batteries for all aspects of work and life.

Our Masterclass will provide the following key takeaways…

  • A variety of easy-to-implement techniques to build your energy levels
  • Skills to help you, to help others
  • Shared stories and experiences

Showcase: We will also have a member ‘Showcase’ session providing a member with the opportunity to experiment and/or hone new material or to seek advice on their speaking business from fellow members.

Register for PSA Scotland’s value-packed November event today. It will be held at Mercure Glasgow City Hotel, 201 Ingram St, Glasgow G1 1DQ, on Monday 20th Nov 2023.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
