We have two accomplished and very experience speakers with us this month:

Firstly, we hear from this year’s PSA President, the wonderful Nathan Littleton. One month out from the annual conference – The Speaking Business Summit – he joins us to talk about all things PSA.

Followed by local hero, Geordie legend, and the speak easy guy, Alfie Joey will also be bring his keynote “Be My Guest” exploring the art of conversation in communication & public speaking. Top tips on hosting a podcast, a panel discussion or a radio show. And how to make an impact as a guest on a panel or a radio or a podcast appearance.

Nathan Littleton - FPSA – Immediate Past President

Nathan is a marketer, speaker and author with over 20 years experience. He specialises in helping businesses to grow by attracting and winning more customers. Each year he sends more than a million emails on behalf of his clients, and his proven track record has led to him working with leading brands including Microsoft, Virgin Care, and the BBC.

When he’s not speaking, writing, or sending emails, Nathan is a long-suffering Aston Villa fan, stand-up comedy fanatic and proud geek.

As National President for 2022-23, Nathan promotes the PSA around the UK and the world. He leads the team in creating our annual national Spring Conference, Impact! and our 3-day Convention, the Speaking Business Summit.

Nathan’s theme for this year is ‘Just one thing,’ encouraging you to focus on one thing from each speaker you see, that you’ll implement right away to make the biggest difference in your speaking business.

Alfie Joey

Artist, actor, writer, presenter, singer, impressionist, Alfie Joey has appeared everywhere from the Comedy Store to Coronation Street. Alfie presented the breakfast show on Sony nominated BBC Newcastle for many years.

His TedX talk ‘Changing Lanes’ is on YouTube and tells his remarkable story and background. He coaches people in public speaking and his #SpeakEasyGuy courses develop hosting and presenting skills. Alfie can help you make a bigger impact if you are making an appearance on a podcast, a panel or any media guest slot.

On TV he played Vic Reeves’ doctor in the popular sitcom ‘Hebburn’. He was in all 7 series of ‘Ideal’ a BBC sitcom starring Johnny Vegas.

Alfie is also one half of the comedy impressionist double act The Mimic Men with Cal Halbert. Their BGT appearance has had over 3 million views on YouTube.

You can see Alfie’s art at the North East Art Collective, the gallery in Eldon Garden, Newcastle. His first illustrated book is out now, The Ghost Who Could Not Scare.
