About this event

Being ourselves on stage can feel like a scary prospect, but it is the key that connects us to the audience.

This month we have two fabulous keynote speakers who will help you to connect to the stories that make you authentically you and resonate with a wider audience.

Keynote: Deborah Henley – Live your authentic story both on stage and off to transform your audience experience and your own speaker success.

As speakers, we know the power of authenticity to inspire and connect with our audiences – but your true genius lies in breaking free from the treadmill of conformity and being even more audaciously YOU both on and off stage!

But is life still inspiring you?

By reclaiming your dreams and weaving your fresh stories through your speeches using your authentic voice – you create a transformative and alive experience.

Learn how to bring even more of your unique personality and presence into your presentations, to connect, engage and inspire – and watch the difference it makes to both your audiences and yourself!

Keynote: Darren Harris – Blind Spots to Breakthroughs: Get Booked, Paid, and Remembered

Most speakers work hard on their content, delivery and stagecraft – yet still struggle to get the results they want. Fewer bookings. Lower fees. Forgotten by their Audience. Why? Because being a great speaker is only one tenth of the story.

To grow a successful speaking business, you also need to work on the elements your audience never get to see.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your speaking to the next level, this powerful and eye-opening keynote will reveal the hidden assumptions, biases, and conditioning that quietly limit your influence, impact, and income as a speaker.

Deborah Henley

Deborah Henley is a leadership communication expert who has worked with senior execs from Accenture, Santander and Cisco to the Royal Society, the MOD and the AWE. She was shortlisted in the 2019 Business Book Awards for ‘Your Leadership Story’, and combines her professional background in clinical and business psychology, neurolinguistics, and hypnotherapy with her many extraordinary life experiences: sailing the world’s oceans, being held at gunpoint, as a journalist in Peru, working behind the cameras at Pinewood and Shepperton Studios and leading training around the world to help leaders to become extraordinary.

Darren Harris

Darren Harris is a speaker, coach and facilitator who gives people in business and education the psychological skills to overcome adversity. He works with organisations that want a fun, unique and positive perspective.

He lost his sight after he was diagnosed with cancer of both eyes. But although he couldn’t regain his sight, he could unblind his mind, which meant transforming how he viewed blindness.

A dual Paralympian, Darren is best known as England’s most capped blind footballer. But he also competed at the Games in judo.

His motto is “Your eyes are useless unless you use what’s between your ears”.
