Kickstart 2025 with inspiration, connection, and collaboration at our first PSA East Midlands event of the year!

We’re thrilled to welcome PSA’s National President Michelle Mills-Porter, as she shares her vision for the year ahead under the theme “Collaboration Evolution.” Michelle will outline her plans to foster greater collaboration across the PSA in 2025, and get us actively involved in the process!

This event is more than just a talk—it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow speakers, exchange ideas, and refine your craft. Alongside Michelle’s keynote, you’ll also enjoy a second interactive session led by Dave James, helping us to speak more authentically “like humans, not robots”, as well as Showcase Speaker presentations from our very talented members.

Michelle Mills-Porter FPSA ADHD is a visionary human behaviour specialist and keynote speaker who decodes the complexities of human motivation, collaboration, and communication – translating them into high-performing, people-powered organisational cultures. As the creator of THE PEOPLE READER™, she has built a distinctive and authoritative presence at the intersection of human behaviour, leadership, and commercial performance.

As Founder of the Neurodiversity Community, Michelle is leading a movement to deepen understanding, elevate inclusion, and unlock the full potential of every mind. This is a space where neurotypical and neurodivergent perspectives come together to learn, share, and evolve – powered by the expertise of the Founding Working Team, guest contributors, and a dynamic, collaborative network.

She is the Immediate Past President of the Professional Speaking Association UK & Ireland and a Fellow of the PSA, where her presidential theme of Collaboration Evolution continues to shape conversations and drive meaningful change across the profession.

Dave James is a speaker and speaker coach, helping business owners to speak like humans – not robots – and be authentically awesome in front of any audience. He is also an entertaining event host and emcee, podcast host, and the immediate Past President for PSA Birmingham region.
