About this event
By Members, For Members – A Peer-Led Event for PSA Professionals
Professional Connections for Impact!
Join us for our sixth Professional Members event, in-person at The Studio in Leeds.
You can expect:
Guided Networking (small groups)
Curated breakout rooms with prompts to spark meaningful conversations among peers.
Hot Seats: Speak More, Speak Better
5 Pre-submitted questions from Professional Members answered live in the room, with feedback and insights from their peers.
Mastermind: Networking for speaking gigs – We discuss a speaking business related topic in small groups with the idea sharing best practice, knowledge and insights on the topic of networking for referrals.
Guest Speaker: Aisling O’Rourke – Raising Your Media Visibility as a Professional Speaker
Aisling will challenge speakers to rethink how they build visibility and credibility in an era where attention is fragmented but authority still matters.
Drawing on her experience as a communications coach, broadcaster and media strategist, she will explore why traditional media platforms such as radio, television and print still deliver strategic positioning power that even experienced speakers overlook.
She will unpack when and how to approach media with confidence, how to articulate your message so it lands with clarity across channels, and how to turn media appearances into long
term credibility rather than one off exposure.
Expect practical takeaways on media pitching, message framing and leveraging broadcast visibility to amplify your speaker brand.
