We are building a new Marketing team, led by the Marketing Director, and are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals to support the promotion and communication of the PSA’s key events.

This includes our regional events as well as our two flagship conferences, Impact! and the Speaking Business Summit.

This role is focused on helping shape the communication journey that builds excitement, engagement, and attendance for our most important events of the year.

Working closely with the Marketing Director, Online Marketing Officer, and Conference team, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent, compelling and timely communications across all channels.

This is a voluntary role and an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and visibility of the PSA.

About You

You are already a strong advocate for the PSA, with a clear understanding of the value of membership and our organisational values.

You enjoy writing and have experience in copywriting, particularly in producing clear, engaging communication for email and promotional campaigns.

You are confident working with structured communication plans and can help deliver consistent messaging across multiple channels.

You are collaborative and comfortable working with different stakeholders, including the Marketing Director, Online Marketing Officer, and conference teams.

You understand the importance of timing in communications and are able to deliver accurate, well-written content to agreed deadlines.

You are motivated by helping create engaging journeys that encourage attendance and participation in events.

The Role

This is a voluntary role supporting the PSA’s conference and events communications strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing copywriting for the promotion of PSA conferences, including Impact! and the Speaking Business Summit
  • Working within a communications plan developed in collaboration with the Marketing Director
  • Ensuring all communications are delivered in line with agreed timelines and published at least one week in advance where required
  • Collaborating with the Conference team to understand promotion priorities and timelines
  • Supporting consistent messaging across email campaigns and marketing materials
  • Working closely with the Online Marketing Officer to ensure alignment between email, social media, and wider promotional activity
  • Helping to build an engaging communication journey that increases awareness, engagement, and attendance at PSA events
