Alastair Greener – Mastering MCing
Keynote speakers and trainers are often asked if they can MC the event at which they are speaking. This session will give you the essential tools that every MC needs to add value to an event and make it run seamlessly.
You’ll find out about the preparation you need to do when MCing as well as writing introductions, linking speakers and how to keep an event to time. You’ll get lots of practical tips on dealing with speakers and clients, audience involvement, panel sessions and what to do when it all goes wrong.

Jane Gunn – How to Manage Crises and Conflict in a Disruptive World
As speakers we have to manage crises and conflicts that may impact us personally as well as our businesses and also think how we can share our own experiences and wisdom in a way that helps our clients in disruptive times.
Jane Gunn is an expert in conflict resolution known as “The Barefoot Mediator” and in this talk will share her own experience and wisdom as well as tips and tools.

As National Vice President, Alastair is part of the conference team putting together the two national conferences (Impact and the Speaking Business Summit), as well as supporting the current National President. He will take over from Michelle Mills-Porter as National President in October 2025
Having spent 16 years in the travel industry, Alastair loves to be on the move and still delivers lectures on board the ships on which he once worked.
