Regional Events
- The President of the PSA can attend any Regional event without charge.
- The President of the GSF can attend any Regional event without charge.
- The President of any GSF national organisation (other than the PSA) can attend any Regional event without charge.
- Each Regional President can attend their own Region’s events without charge.
- Fellows who are judging the Speaker Factor do not need to pay to attend the Regional Speaker Factor heat they are judging.
- Board Directors can attend Regional events without charge when their presence is required as part of PSA operations, such as when providing support to Regional Teams. At other times Board Directors will need to pay.
- Keynote speakers and workshop leaders can attend Regional events without charge. All other speakers, such as those doing showcases will need to pay.
- Any member of the PSA office team can attend Regional events without charge.
- Guests can attend a Regional event without charge; such guests will need prior approval from the Board. Such guests might include, for instance, representatives of the venue, or members of other organisations for which we have reciprocal free places at their events.
- Members who have received a referral voucher, for introducing a new member, are entitled to attend a regional meeting of their choice, free of charge. A voucher can be redeemed at any of the PSA Regions throughout the UK and Ireland (this does not include national meetings). For more information on the referral scheme see here
National Events
- The President of the PSA can attend any National event without charge.
- The President of the GSF can attend any National event without charge.
- The President of any GSF national organisation can attend any National event without charge.
- Board Directors can attend National events without charge only when their presence is required as part of the organising team.
- All former National Presidents of the PSA who are still subscribed members can attend our Autumn Annual Convention (Speaking Business Summit) without charge in each of the five years after their presidency ends.
- Any member of the PSA office team can attend National events without charge.
- Guests can attend a National event without charge; such guests will need prior approval from the Board.
- In common with the other GSF associations, The PSA asks all speakers at convention to contribute to the costs of the event buy buying a ticket (at the lowest possible cost) and to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
