We need a gardener!
More specifically, we are recruiting a new Marketing Director for the PSA who can help us plant seeds and further expand the breadth and depth of the Association.
Working alongside the Board of Directors and supporting wider membership, this strategic role is responsible for promoting the PSA, both externally to the events industry and internally to members.
Our current Marketing Director, Chantal Cornelius, is handing over the reins later this year, as she steps up to become PSA National President in October. She has created a Marketing Strategy to work from and you will be tasked with engaging current members and attracting new members, through developing this strategy further.

About You
You are already a huge advocate of the PSA, with an understanding of the benefits of membership and the application of our values.
You are organised and structured in your approach to marketing and planning, being able to keep up with our regional and national events.
You are creative and able to think of innovative ways to promote the PSA, while working within our key message of Connection.
You’re also able to work as a team and able to explain marketing concepts to non-marketing team members, guiding and advising them, for the implementation of the Marketing Strategy.

The Role
This is a voluntary role and some of the key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and evolving a Marketing Strategy, to build the reputation of the Professional Speaking Association.
- Supporting the acquisition and retention of members at all levels.
- Promoting regional and national events both internally to members and externally to potential members and the events industry.
- Advise the Board on matters relating to marketing and branding.
- Liaise with the head office team to implement the marketing strategy.
- Plan a marketing calendar to ensure timely promotion of events.
- Advise on using the PSA membership data to better target marketing communications.
- Advise on appropriate tools and services the PSA should consider investing in to enhance marketing activity.
