Next Gen Significance is coming up at PSA Yorkshire this September and you will want to be there!
This event will be a great opportunity to learn about ways to connect and communicate across all generations – mind the gap!
There will be insightful talks, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities with like-minded professionals.
You’ll see below, our agenda has shifted to a slightly later time to accommodate anyone travelling to the event and we have a fabulous line-up for you planned:
Alastair Greener – Why doesn’t my audience understand me?
From Baby Boomers to Generation Z, the way our audiences react when we speak, train, or coach is directly related to the way we communicate. Our audiences won’t engage with our content if they don’t connect with our language and style. In this masterclass, Alastair will guide us through the different generations we could have in our audiences as well as the best ways to engage them, whether it’s in a training session, workshop, or keynote speech.
Lise Kaye-Bell with her showcase – Not another old lady with a PowerPoint- engaging the Tiktok generation
As always, in addition to the brilliance of the speaker line-up, our informal connection time before the meeting and the casual networking lunch afterwards are brilliant networking opportunities for all levels of speakers.
Just a stone’s throw from Leeds Station, a visit to the PSA Yorkshire region couldn’t be more fun, valuable or convenient on the 4th Saturday of every month.
Make sure to mark your calendars and join us for this inspiring event!
Keynote speakers
Having originally trained in the hospitality industry, Alastair has over 30 years of experience presenting on television and on stage. For the last decade, he’s been a communications expert and now specialises in generational communication. With his company Present Yourself, he also helps individuals and organisations communicate more effectively. He’s a fellow of the PSA and serves on the PSA board as Director of Regions.
One of Rachel’s first observations about successful speakers was they all seemed to have a powerful story to share.
Initially held back by a belief that she didn’t have a story to share, she set out on a path to see the value in her own stories and to find a way to bring ordinary everyday stories to her speaking and actively encourages and inspires others to do the same.
More recently she has added another dimension to her work around storytelling and speaks on the importance and impact of reframing failure as merely a chapter of our story.
In addition to the speaking side of her business, Rachel works with business professionals who want to increase their credibility by becoming more compelling communicators.
