We start our event with the Thames Valley Regional Heats for the Professional Speakers Association prestigious Speaker Factor Competition. Associate members take to the stage to WOW our 3 judges for a place in this years final at our Speakers Summit in October.

David Abbott then takes to the Thames Valley stage with How to Price Your Platypus to help you to get to grips with the science and psychology of pricing. David will then break down his pricing keynote, identifying the things that work well with these audiences and why they work well, and give you hints and tips on how to get more CEO/Corporate bookings – and how to make those bookings fabulous.

Keynote speakers
Derek Williams is Founder of The WOW! Awards and receives over 50,000 customer nominations for exceptional service every year. Catching people doing things right is, “The rocket fuel of employee engagement and delivering great customer service! It’s adding millions of pounds to the bottom line for companies around the world.”
He has been a Fellow of the PSA for 9 years. As well as building two successful businesses using his skills as a speaker, he is Chair of a leisure group with 2,500 employees.
David is an international speaker, helping audiences to discover simple ways to improve their pricing.
After studying Engineering Science and Economics at Oxford he worked in marketing and business management. He ran a £56m mail order company where pricing is crucial, and has held senior marketing roles in a wide variety of industries. He currently helps clients develop and execute marketing strategies that help them to out-compete their competition.
He applies psychology research into consumer behaviour to business and marketing. He illustrates everything with real examples of marketing in action.
