Join us in Reigate for another brilliantly positive and fun Professional Speaking Association South East event.
Our format as always is a fantastic line up of Professional Keynote Speakers, Member Showcases, PSA Panels, Q&A’s and Discussions.
This year we are looking to demystify what a Professional Speaker is in our world today. That might be a Keynote Speaker, an Emcee, a Podcaster, a Vlogger or maybe you simply have to speak a lot in your job and what to do it more and do it better, we promise to help everyone on their speaking Journey.
We have a packed agenda on 9 May including showcases, entertainment and our two keynote headliners – Internet psychologist Graham Jones, and slide presentation expert (and former PSA South East Regional President) Dave Henson.
Keynote speakers
Graham Jones is an award-winning speaker and writer. He has written 32 books and spoken around the world. He is a qualified psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society and the Society of Authors. He is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association and has received the PSAE Award and the Founders Award.
Graham is also a regular commentator and interviewee for many media outlets.
Graham is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Buckingham Business School, where he is the Program Director for Business Management.
Trained in photography and audio-visual production, David Henson set up The Regent Slide Company in 1986 and spent years producing thousands of 35mm slides for many and varied businesses. But it was spending time sitting in audiences listening to professional speakers that brought home the realisation that even good speakers produce bad slides. And now he’s on a crusade to eradicate excruciatingly boring visual communications and to teach people how to produce slides and presentations that wow their audiences and that make their talks memorable and effective.
