About this event
This month is all about us – our members!
On Thursday 13th November, we’ll be turning the spotlight onto each other.
Instead of having visiting speakers, we’ll hear short talks from members, sharing:
- Who you are
- Why you do what you do
- How you do it
It’s a chance to showcase your story, your style and your speaking – while helping us all to get to know each other better.
The aim? To strengthen our club through:
- Referrals – understanding how to recommend and open doors for each other
- Mentorship – finding opportunities to learn from one another’s experience
- Friendship – building the trust and connections that make PSA NW so special
This is one of those evenings that can spark collaborations, deepen relationships, and give you new allies in your speaking journey.
We are planning 10 minute slots per person. We’ll choose the speakers randomly on the night.
We”ll also be joined by our new President of PSA UK & Ireland, Alastair Greener!
This year’s PSA theme, The Art of Connection, explores how as speakers we can
establish, grow and sustain meaningful human connections.
In this short, interactive session, Alastair will share how deepening our ability to connect with our clients, their audiences, and each other, can help all of us Speak More and Speak Better.
By attending this session, you will:
- Understand why connection is at the core of every successful speaking business
- Learn how to connect more deeply with your clients, their audiences, and each
other - Discover how mastering The Art of Connection will help you Speak
More and Speak Better
Don’t miss it – come ready to share, listen and connect.
Please note: Food is not included with your ticket price, apart from a ‘sweet treat’ during the break. Food is, of course, still available from the Bar/Restaurant for anyone who wants to arrive early or pre-order food to arrive during the break.
Keynote speakers
As a speaker specialising in Generational Communication, Alastair helps organisations understand and bridge the communication gap between generations.
He is the founder of Present Yourself, leading workshops on communication, and is also an experienced event
MC and moderator.
As President, Alastair oversees the PSA’s two annual conferences in 2026 (Impact and the Speaking Business Summit) and plays an active role on the PSA Board. He is PSA Fellow, former Regional President and Director of Regions, and his
mission for the year is to help us all Speak More and Speak Better through The Art of Connection.
