About this event

A warm welcome to PSA North West from our Regional President, James Perryman and the gang.

The PSA theme for 2023 is “Just One Thing” and we’ll continue to bring that to life to support your personal, professional and business growth!

This months’ agenda will be centred around our national speaking competition Speaker Factor, as we hold the live North West heat, and we’ll be hearing what it takes to achieve Peak Performance from our resident Team GB Olympic finalist – as well as giving you time to relax, connect and network over some food and drink

Location: The Village Hotel, 110 Centre Park Square, Warrington, WA1 1QA.

‘Speaker Factor’ is the PSA’s national annual speaking competition, to celebrate our up and coming speakers.

The North West have won before and we’re looking strong to do it again, with at least 8 of our members putting themselves forward as contenders.

If you’re not one of those contenders, there is considerable value to be gained from seeing and hearing how they’ve each crafted a compelling 5-minute talk, in order to wow the judges with their stagecraft, script, delivery, engagement and bookability – all valuable and important qualities when it comes to public speaking.

Our North West region winner and runner-up will be announced at the end of this meeting, ready for the finals in October.

And the value doesn’t stop there!

How much more effective and engaged would you be in your work and life if you were given both the permission and the tools to do your best work more often? Would you have more fun? More success?

Maybe you’ve encountered setback after setback on your journey of success and you’re ready to bounce-back. Or perhaps you’re operating at a high level already and simply fancy a performance boost.

With her talk “Achieving Peak Performance – what does it take?”, our speaker Abigail Irozuru will be showing you how to reinvigorate your passion and joy in your work to create more gold medal moments, and to shift your own mindset for high-level performances and more joyful moments even in the difficult times.
