PSA Ireland is looking forward to welcoming members and guests to our March event on Saturday March 28th at the Maldron Hotel, Newlands Cross, in Dublin.
Running from 9am to 1pm, the morning will bring together professional speakers, trainers and business owners for a focused session of learning, professional development and connection.
We are delighted to welcome two keynote speakers who will address two topics that are increasingly important for anyone building a speaking business, brand positioning and protecting your intellectual property.
Mary White, Director of Trade Marks at Murgitroyd, will explore the growing importance of intellectual property for speakers and content creators. As AI tools become more embedded in how we create and distribute content, questions around copyright, ownership and protecting original ideas are becoming more relevant than ever. Mary is a qualified Irish and EU trade marks attorney and is passionate about building awareness of intellectual property among Irish entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Carol Gaffney, Brand Positioning Strategist and founder of Gaffney & Co., will deliver a keynote entitled Beyond Personal Brand: How Positioning Builds Speaker Authority. Carol works with founders and corporate leaders to develop identity led positioning that strengthens credibility, clarity and authority in the market. She is also the creator of the Branded From Within™️ framework.
The morning will also feature member showcase talks from Margaret K Jercynska and Johnny Fitz. Showcases give members the opportunity to practise a talk in front of a professional audience and receive constructive feedback as they continue to develop their speaking craft.
PSA Ireland events are designed to support speakers at every stage of their journey while also offering a welcoming space to connect with others who are serious about developing their voice, message and business.
