About this event
This time, our focus is on the business of speaking. Here are some of the benefits you’ll get on the day:
- ‘Show and tell’ with Julie Holmes MA CPAE. She’s just finished redoing all her marketing collateral (speaker kit, one sheet, program descriptions, website, speaker video etc.) and says the package was “a ton of work and a lot of thought went into it”. She’ll explain what to include and why, and how to connect that collateral to pitches and meetings with bureaus. And of course you can ask her whatever questions you want.
- Interactive session. We’re a quarter of the way through the year, so it’s a good time to check your 2024 progress to date. How is your business doing? Where are you against the goals you set for this year? How has what you’ve learned so far today affected your plans?
- Facilitated panel discussion about working with CEO groups and speaker bureaus, moderated by Heather Wright. Includes Maria Franzoni, Ian Hawkins, Claire Young and John Cremer. Our guests will share their unique expertise including guidance on approaching and working with CEO groups and bureaus, as well as any themes that are particularly in demand.
- A keynote by Honorary Fellow, Lois Creamer, author of Book More Business. She’s an ever-popular speaker who’s kindly Zooming in from the USA to share her wisdom with us.
Note that the keynotes and panel discussion will each comprise about 15 minutes of ‘presentation’ followed by half an hour for your questions – so there will be plenty of interaction.

We hope you can join us, and urge you to book at least two weeks beforehand to help us with catering and so you can benefit from the early-bird price.
Note that this will be a hybrid event so you also have the option of attending on Zoom.
