About this event

We have an awesome lineup for our June meeting – not only two Fellows of the PSA, but two recipients of the PSA Award of Excellence: Will Kintish and Lee Jackson. Will was also a founding member of PSA NW, so we’ve a lot to thank him for!

Will is going to help us become expert networkers with The Power of the Question.

The key to being an effective networker is asking insightful and astute questions. Ensure you start with the right icebreaker, what questions not to ask, the all-important small talk questions, the business questions to ascertain if your services fit and when you want to create more opportunities the follow up questions. Questioning is the core to building solid relationships.

At the end of Will’s keynote, you will know:

  • How to start with a powerful ice-breaker question
  • What are the fundamental business questions you need to ask
  • Understanding that small talk binds and bonds the relationships
  • How to follow up after meeting to move the relationship to the next stage

Then we’ve got Lee Jackson, who will give us 25 for 2025! His 25 top tips in 2025 for Professional Speakers – in 25 minutes.

Lee has been a Professional Speaker for over 25 years, picking up plenty of lessons along the way – from life, business, and countless hours on stage. In this new-for-2025 session, he’ll share highlights from his “Get Good® At Life & Work” keynote, along with some key tips he wishes he’d known earlier.

It’s a relaxed, engaging session filled with humour, honest encouragement, and a bit of challenge to get you thinking. Expect useful takeaways to help you reflect on your delivery, your business, and yourself – alongside peers who get it.

Lee will share as much as he can in the time, and anything he doesn’t cover will be available as a free download just for attendees. Plus, there’ll be time for a proper Q&A at the end.

You’ll go away with tips on delivery, resilience, marketing and enjoying the PSA journey.
