We are very excited to tell you that we have two very different and very well known speakers with us for our 26 July meeting in Stoke.
Our first keynote will be delivered by: Andrew Bryant – How Hard Could It Be? The Rollercoaster Ride of a Speaking Entrepreneur
You’ve been speaking since you were about 2 years old, so how hard could it be to be a professional speaker?
If you have been in the business for more than a month – then you know the answer.
In this keynote, a veteran of the speaking world, who has built his business from the ground up on three continents, will share his experiences and lessons from the frontline.
If nothing else, you will learn what not to do.
Key Takeaways:
- Pros and Cons of the Entrepreneurial Mindset
- Why nobody cares about your topic
A self-leadership strategy known only to a few
And our second interactive keynoter will be Michael Dodd – Great Answers To Tough Questions For Speakers
This talk shows how speakers can give great answers to “blowtorch-on-the-belly questions” they receive on the platform, in media interviews and in negotiations with speaker bookers.
It gives audience members with The Golden Formulae For Giving Great Answers and shows them how to apply it.
With the help of a pre-arranged member of the audience, it demonstrates the difference between a bad answer and great answer, in a way that everyone present can learn.
Key Takeaways:
- The Golden Formulae for giving great answers to tough questions
- An understanding how to use the Golden Formulae to answer blowtorch-on-the-belly questions
- Knowing how the formulae can be utilised on the platform; in answers to the media; and in business discussions with potential speaker bookers.
Keynote speakers
Michael Dodd equips audiences to give great answers to the tough questions that can be thrown at them.
He’s a one-time political and foreign correspondent – trained in the art of asking what they call “blowtorch-on-the-belly questions” his native Australia.
He was schooled by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in the art of asking tough questions before becoming one of their political interviewers in the most ferocious democratic forum in the world – the Australian Parliament.
He’s also had the opportunity to ask blowtorch-on-the-belly questions in his role as ABC correspondent in London and Berlin.
These days Michael helps audiences to give great answers to these kinds of questions.
Michael’s had speaking engagements on six continents.
He’s been awarded the “New Speaker of the Year” title from the Academy for Chief Executives.
Michael’s book “Great Answers To Tough Questions At Work”, published by Wiley, has been given “Management Gold” endorsement by the Chartered Management Institute.
Michael has recorded the talking book version for the Amazon company, Audible.
He speaks with audiences of business leaders, sales teams, United Nations’ officials, diplomats and civil servants to give great answers in media interviews and to shine out in other professional conversations.
