About this event
This November we welcome two fantastic speakers to the stage, to help everyone Speak More and Speak Better.
Helping us with Speak More we have the fantastic David Abbott, the author of How to Price Your Platypus. If you’ve ever wondered about how to price your services, you don’t want to miss his talk as he shares his wisdom.
And it doesn’t stop there, Speak Better is covered by the fabulous Dr Lynda Shaw inviting us to The Brainy Speakers Party, showing us how to:
- Understand the neuroscience of different dynamics in the audience.
- How to leverage those dynamics.
- And add more power for your toolbox.
Here at PSA Yorkshire we’re friendly, fun and very down to Earth, so please come and join us. You’ll be very welcome.
Keynote speakers
David is an international speaker, helping audiences to discover simple ways to improve their pricing.
After studying Engineering Science and Economics at Oxford he worked in marketing and business management. He ran a £56m mail order company where pricing is crucial, and has held senior marketing roles in a wide variety of industries. He currently helps clients develop and execute marketing strategies that help them to out-compete their competition.
He applies psychology research into consumer behaviour to business and marketing. He illustrates everything with real examples of marketing in action.
Lynda is Past President of the Professional Speaking Association UK&I, Hall of Fame PSAE, Fellow of PSA and is the founder of Brain & Behaviour Ltd., the Neuroscience Professional Development Programme and Brain and Behavior Mastery, designed to help professional people use applied neuroscience successfully in their work.
She is an experienced entrepreneur, having owned 3 businesses. She holds a doctorate in cognitive neuroscience, specialising in unconscious processing of emotion and behavioural change.
She is a genius translator and works with senior leaders and their teams in STEM industries to extract and communicate fabulous ideas. This enables better funding and investment opportunities, and spreading their genius to the outside world, something we badly need.
Lynda is always informative, fun and extremely practical.
