About this event
November’s PSA Staffordshire meeting brings two world-class speakers who embody courage, authenticity and influence. Together, they’ll inspire you to strengthen your mindset, elevate your presence and lead with confidence in every area of life and business.
Helen Dos Santos – “The Power of GRIT: Chasing Hope in the Hardest Moments”
From post-independence Zimbabwe to rebuilding a new life in the UK with just £230 and a suitcase, Helen shares a deeply personal story of resilience and renewal. Her GRIT framework – Get on with it, Reframe and Reflect, take Initiative and Trust your team, is a blueprint for finding hope, strength and purpose when life knocks you down. This keynote will leave you moved, inspired and ready to face challenges with renewed belief in what is possible.
Antoinette Dale Henderson – “Leading with Gravitas: Unlock the Six Keys to Impact and Influence”
Gravitas is not about being louder or more forceful; it is about being grounded, authentic and intentional. Antoinette, a globally recognised expert in leadership presence, will reveal the six keys to developing gravitas and explain how you can use them to command respect, connect with audiences and elevate your professional reputation. Expect practical insights, engaging stories and tools you can use immediately to enhance your impact on and off the stage.
This is an evening for anyone who wants to lead, speak and live with purpose, combining the heart of resilience with the art of influence.
Keynote speakers
Helen Dos Santos is a powerful speaker on resilience and the power of Grit. She is also a DISC trainer and an internationally accredited NLP Master Practitioner & Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner working as a Wellbeing & Resilience Life Coach to address trauma and mental health issues.
She brings authenticity and warmth to a subject that she has lived and experienced. With a background shaped by political upheaval in Zimbabwe and rebuilding her life in the UK with just £230 and a suitcase, Helen knows what it takes to thrive through adversity.
A fun, challenging and high-impact speaker, Helen works with corporates, the tri-services and education audiences—sharing her unique GRIT framework (Get on with it, Reframe & Reflect, Initiative, Trust). Her message resonates deeply, giving people the tools and mindset to face challenges head-on and move forward with courage and hope.
Antoinette is co-President of the Fellowship community and has been a member of the PSA since 2016.
Frustrated that leaders often get told they “need more gravitas” to progress but are not shown how, Antoinette was inspired to research this elusive quality. The result was her trademarked six-step model that helps anyone develop their own authentic gravitas.
Antoinette published her insights in her first book, Leading with Gravitas: Unlock the six keys to impact and influence. Her Leading with Gravitas® programme has inspired thousands of leaders, worldwide, to reach their potential.
Antoinette also focuses on helping organisations to support their female talent. This inspired her second book, Power Up: The Smart Woman’s Guide to Unleashing Her Potential.
She has delivered bespoke keynotes, leadership development programmes and masterclasses for major companies across the public and private sectors, worldwide. Her clients include Merck, Siemens, Roche, Marriott, Johnson & Johnson, Sky, and Allianz. She’s also an accredited speaker for VISTAGE. Her TEDx talk was selected to be part of the TEDTalk library.
Before starting her business, Antoinette spent 16 years in senior positions at some of the world’s top PR agencies.
