About this event
Members Only – Afternoon Masterclass (14:00-17:00) – Please note: The afternoon masterclass will now take place next door to the Village Hotel at:
Stage Alchemy: Strategic Storytelling that Wins Hearts, Minds and Clients
Most speakers can tell a story.
Very few can tell a story that changes minds, shifts beliefs, and quietly sells their expertise without sounding like a smarmy salesperson who’s swallowed a funnel.
In this high-impact masterclass, Sarah Archer will show the different types of stories, and how you:
- Identify the story you need to share;
- Map your stories to the problem your audience cares about most;
- Shift beliefs using stories; and
- Use contrast, tension and emotional drivers to create a “talk they feel,”
You’ll leave with the structure, strategy, and confidence to build stories that get you remembered, referred and booked.
Open to all – Evening Keynote (18:00-21:00)
The Laughter Refinery: How to Be Funny on Purpose (Without Turning Into a Bad Open Mic Act)
You don’t need to be a comedian to be funny on stage.
But you do need to understand the essence and ingredients of creating and delivering humour … unless you enjoy the unique horror of throwing out what you think is a zinger and watching 200 people squirm in unison.
In this fun, hands-on masterclass with seasoned comic and speaking coach Sarah Archer, you’ll learn the core skills of purposeful humour: the kind that enhances your message, boosts your authority, and makes you wildly more bookable – without undermining your expertise or feeling like you’re “trying too hard.”
Please note: Food is not included with your ticket price, apart from a ‘sweet treat’ during the break. Food is, of course, still available from the Bar/Restaurant for anyone who wants to arrive early or pre-order food to arrive during the break.
